I recently had an explant and one of my implants was leaking so silicone spread into my breast. The doctor found what looks like an inch long silicone filled cyst in my breast. She wants me to have it tested with a fine needle biopsy . Is this safe to do? My fear is that if they poke a needle into this cyst isn’t the silicon going to spread out from it again? I'm kind of happy that it's collected in one place and I'd rather have this cyst or granuloma removed surgically so it doesn't spread out.
