Can a revision rhinoplasty be quick and easy?

During rhinoplasty, the skin
and internal lining of the nose is lifted away from the cartilages and bones that provide
the its structural framework. The majority of the work performed in
rhinoplasty is aimed at reshaping this framework to exact changes in
the nasal appearance. When the skin and internal lining are lifted away from
the cartilage and bone, the blood supply to the nose is partially disrupted,
which explains for the prolonged swelling after rhinoplasty surgery.
Additionally, scar tissue builds up under the skin, which further impedes blood
flow and prolongs swelling. For this reason, one can expect each successive
revision rhinoplasty (excluding minor modifications) to have a longer recovery
period than the last. I recommend consulting with
a rhinoplasty surgeon with experience in revision rhinoplasty for an in-person
examination and discussion of your treatment options. Without photographs and
an in-person examination, it is difficult to address your specific questions.

Hi BrittE92,Although an in-person examination is needed, the answer is typically "no" especially if you have had several previous procedures. Nothing about your history sounds simple or easy.  Revision rhinoplasty is touch and changing or improving mild to moderate imperfections can be very unpredictable.  Seek only advice from revision rhinoplasty specialists who have evidence of their work.  Also, you get what you pay for.Chase Lay MD
