Is it possible that removal of composite veneer permanently achieve though my central incusors where prep minimally like a scratch but gap created in between. Can braces close it? What will happen to my teeth after that procedure? Can i strengthen my teeth after that? Thank you
Answer: Removal of veneers requires grinding Whether composite or porcelain, veneers normally are removed from a grinding process. If CAREFUL, minimal effects to the underlying tooth will happen. Once braces are done, you can evaluate what to do next. If virtually no destruction to the teeth have happened, you may opt to do nothing more than braces. However, most cases will benefit from replacement of the veneers. It is best to be evaluated in person with a dentist familiar with cosmetics.

Answer: Composite veneers It is possible to remove composite veneers if there is sufficient enamel on your natural tooth. If the tooth was heavily prepped for the veneer, it may be that you need to keep a layer of composite on there. Depending on the size of the space that was created, braces may be an option to close it. If the space created removed too much tooth structure and the teeth appear very narrow, you may want to keep the bonding. Without photos and xrays, it's difficult to really say if what you want to be done can be done successfully.

Answer: Removal of composite beneer A composite veneer can be removed and not harm your natural tooth if it is done meticulously under magnification. If there is a space between your central incisors after the veneers have been removed, Invisalign may be able to close the gap. If this is not possible, then if you still want the gap closed, pyour choices would be limited to cosmetic bonding, composite veneers, or porcelain veneers. You should discuss all these points with your dentist prior to having the existing composite veneers removed.

Answer: Removal of veneers Hello and thank you for your question. The best way to answer this is with an in-person evaluation, but yes it is possible to remove veneers, but it may alter the tooth underneath. Braces may help give improvement to the gap you mentioned. I recommend getting a consultation with a Prosthodontist, who can discuss with you the different types of veneers and how removal would effect the health of your teeth. A Prosthodontist is a dental specialist who has advanced training in restoring teeth and can create a customized treatment using the latest techniques in dental veneers.
