Profound RF is a bipolar machine, meaning the radiofrequency does goes from one needle to another without spreading outside the zone of treatment. Personal conversation with the company and other colleagues I have not heard any concerns.Now, if one has a "pre cancerous" lesion, I would recommend talking to your endocrinologist. Great question.
