Hello I am 25 y/o with eye ptosis (worse on the left). I have seen two surgeons. The first one suggests Müllerectomy because it's scarless, but the other prefers the anterior approach. I wonder how bad my ptosis is as Müllerectomy is recommended for only mild ptosis. I did much research about both approaches, yet I feel that I need more experts to look at my eyes. Therefore, I'm asking you to look at my photo and the level of my ptosis then tell me which approach you think I may need. Thank you

Answer: It helps to deal with individuals with true expertise and not a surgeon who is only familiar with one type of ptosis surgery.
It does seem strange that your ptosis second repair didn't repair the eyelid height. there could be a number of issues here, and all would be answered with a good history and exam. was this a congenital ptosis (were you born like this)? was there trauma? in either case the levator muscle may not...
