I just read on a doctors website about Novathreads. Can this be done on the brows to lift them a bit? If so, what would be the process and possible complications?
Answer: NovaThreads Browlift Novathreads can indeed be used to lift the brows. The process involves injecting the threads under the brows to give them a slight lift. This can be done with minimal pain and discomfort under local anesthetic in the office. We perform Novathreads frequently for non-surgical lifting of all facial areas. Possible complications are bruising and short term irregularity of the treated areas (not too common in the brow). The threads are made of polydiaxanone (PDO) and are completely dissolvable.

Answer: Threading procedures Thank you for the question and threading can be done to raise the brows but a formal brow lift is relatively simple to do and would give a more long lasting result, but an examination is really needed to see what procedure would be best for you. So see some experts in your area.Dr. Corbin

Answer: Novathreads Lift Dear MDLA27, My experience with patients coming into my office who have had this procedure done elsewhere is that they state they wasted their money and are very dissatisfied with their results. I have also seen some complications to the procedure so this would not be my advice to you. Personally, I perform endoscopic brow lift procedures and this procedure is one of the most rewarding procedures we perform in my practice. Almost my entire office staff has had the procedure performed as they see how happy the patients are and how great they look even ten years later. I would do your homework and not look for a short cut procedure when you are dealing with your face. On my website listed below you can see many examples of endoscopic brow lift procedures. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
