The bigger the teethand provided you are comfortable with having attachments on these teeth, youwill be able to close that gap. Braces might work marginally faster but I guessit’s a decision you have to make but certainly a skilled Invisalign clinicianwith the right settings and the right use of the program can achieve a desiredresult for you.
You should be able to have your space closed withInvisalign. You also appear to have access of gingival tissue currently presentbetween your front two teeth so you might also need to consult a dentist regardinga possible removal of that in conjunction with space closure.
From the photo you have sent us it does appear that you can close the space that you have. You are correct that it is large but you can move the space a little further back and close the one in the front. I would speak to a qualified invisalign dentist in your area to discuss your option
Both options have good prognosis of improving open bite. Invisalign has some cosmetic advantages and lends itself to improving the open bite. I suggest reviewing pros and cons with an orthodontist who has a lot of experience in BOTH techniques
I was sorry to hear of your illness but am pleased to hear of your recovery. It sounds as if you will have to start treatment all over again as the teeth have shifted and the aligners no longer fit. Since the process will require new impressions and fabrication of new aligners...
Your teeth have other concerns like bone loss, a discolored tooth and uneven proportions that cannot be resolved with invisalign.
