Just finished Invisalign braces course. Now my molars don't touch, only my wisdom teeth. Should I have them removed? (photo)

Question

Basically my wisdoms are higher up in the gum in position than the other teeth which is affecting me eating, my speech and my smile. I now have a gap between upper and lower at the front :( Should i have them removed? My orthodontist says he can fill in the molars so i have a bite. But there will still be a gap at the front. Ive paid £3000 for this smile and im so disappointed i cant smile properly. Please professional advise would help.

I did not see the before photos of your teeth, so I can't say with certainty that your results are not good.  However, my initial opinion of your smile is that it is not optimal and needs further adjustments.  Since you have already paid your dentist for Invisalign, you should return to him/her and ask for a refinement.  The refinement will not usually cost extra, but it entirely depends on your doctor's policy.  If your current dentist cannot offer a refinement, then seek another opinion. Another qualified orthodontist can advise you better than I can seeing only a photo. If it truly is your wisdom teeth (3rd molars) that are sitting too high causing you to only hit on those, then they probably do need to be removed. However, that is not going to fix your entire problem. Unfortunately, additional orthodontics will be needed to properly align and balance your bite; probably with a final equilibration. Do not let a dentist add to the shorter teeth just to build them up. That can create many more future problems.

It's always difficult to give an opinion based on a photo alone and without an appropriate clinical exam. However, I am concerned to read that the photo posted was of your FINAL treatment result! If I were you, I would ask a qualified and registered ORTHODONTIC SPECIALIST of your country and get a second opinion.
