Its best to apply this like hair coloring... spread the hair into sections and apply a small amount directly to the scalp.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I recommend
applying Minoxidil to scalp then with fingers massage lightly to spread throughout
the balding area.  You need to wash your hands after applying it. Of course your doctor can tell you which areas are at risk of further hair loss so you can expand to those areas if need be.

Thank you for posting your question. You do not need to apply a drop on every area of your scalp, just on the thinning areas and massage them in with the tips of your finger.
