How long does cartilage swelling take to go back to normal if there was some impact to an ear that caused a little bump?

There was no fluid for this bump but there is a little white bump now that I've had for about two weeks. It's not hard but I'm wondering how long it will take for it to go away if it did swell up because of the impact to the ear?
