Which treatment is best for skin tightening on the face? I’m a 26 yo male, and have had eight Forma treatments but feel the results with Forma don’t last. Are Morpheus8 and genius similar? Do they both give about the same results for tightening the skin on the face?
Answer: Morpheus8 helps tighten unwanted loose skin Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Morpheus8 vs genius Great question. Sorry to hear that you’re not getting results you want with Fractora To answer your question directly both Morpheus and genius are better than Fractura. However if you haven’t gotten great results with Fractura the chance of a homerun type of result with either Morpheus are genius is very small. There are no head-to-head studies between Morpheus or genius. We are looking at doing one at our clinic shortly. Overall I think Morpheus may be better only because it comes on the same platform as accutite Which I recommend combining to get optimal results. Doing Accutite and Morpheus together (Called embrace RF procedure) will for sure give you better results then genius alone I do agree with the other doctor saying that he will likely need a combination treatment with other modalities to achieve both lifting projection and volume is ation which it sounds like you need. Radiofrequency alone will not be able to do this. I would strongly consult that you meet with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to go over your options. All of these treatments are only as good as the person performing them and how good they are and assessing your face and all of your needs to give you your desired outcomes. Good luck
