Would Morpheus 8 work for my neck? (photo)

Question

I have always been so self conscious about my neck, I inherited it from my mom, I had kybella done a few years ago and it helped a little but it didn't give me the result I was hoping for. Would Morpheus work for me? If not, what?

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Thank you for your question and for uploading these photos. It is difficult to evaluate how much skin laxity and adiposity of the chin/neck area there is from only photos, but Morpheus8 treatment is a great treatment to minimize a small layer of fat, tighten skin, smooth out wrinkles, and promote collagen production using radiofrequency (RF) energy and microneedling. Morpheus8 is usually performed as a treatment of 3, done 2-4 weeks apart. If more fat is present, facetite is another great option for skin tightening that uses RF energy and is typically only done once. These two procedures can also be done in combination with one another. Please be sure to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon.

I think Morpheus8 would be perfect but I do think you should defat the neck with liposculpture (liposuction but with very small cannulas) then a little FaceTite treatment combined with the Morpheus.  It is the same device for most offices and simply needs a different handpiece for the FaceTite with some very easy liposuction equipment.  Best Wishes!!!

It's hard to say based on the information provided.  However, minimally invasive modalities tend to be disappointing.  Usually, a facelift is the only definitive procedure.

morpheus, threads, botox all help. but you have this degree of sagging you need internal heating and/or face/neck lift PLUS those.

if you want a dramatic change necklift/facelift, Implants and fillers will give you that. noninvasive will improve the area and facetite, threads, morpheus, and fillers can be used.  start at home dermarolling to tighten you skin, MTS roller + anteageMD.

With significant neck sagging you would need a neck/face lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). at the same time lasers (fraxel,  co2 or erbium( or microneedling RF (fractora, intensif, morpheus) can be . performed to improve the crepe skin or wrinkles.  You need a formal consultation, as the neck can be treated with a combination approach:
1. micro needling and lasers for texture
2. botox, disport or xeomin to help platysmal bands
3. intensif or fractora RF microneedling for crepe skin and lifting

The short answer is yes!  Morpheus8 would be a great option for your sagging neck skin.  It looks like there could be a little fat pocket deposition in the submental area as well.  You could consider a single coolsculpting segmental treatment and then a morpheus 8 treatment along the jawline and over the whole neck a month later.
