Thank you for your question. Morpheus8 uses radiofrequency. All radiofrequency devices can cause volume loss to some extend. However, the tips are 2, 3 or 4 mm. We can use smaller tips to avoid volume use. Also Morpheus8 uses color blind technology and can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker tones to be treated. The Morpheus8 is a great new technology and is safe for darker skin. All energy devices must be adjusted down slightly or other precautions taken in darker skinned people though to avoid the possibility of hyperpigmentation. The depth of penetration for these needles does not cause too much fat loss. It would be very unlikely to see anything clinically significant and with the tightening/wrinkle reduction effects, it is a good option for many people.Best of luck
