Is a sharp pain under only one breast common after augmentation ?

Thank you for your question!  Sharp, shooting pains after breast augmentation surgery is very common.  This is often due to the nerves "waking up" and becoming irritated.  This pain is often treated successfully with neurontin.  It is best that you be seen by your plastic surgeon to ensure you are healing properly and to see if he/she recommends any further treatment.  Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. It is very common for women to experience a variety of sensations after a breast augmentation. Pain is often one of these sensations. Most of the time, it is from inflammation on the breast nerves and the muscles and tissue being stretched out. For the first few months you are still in an early wound healing stage. If the pain continues past 6 months, I would schedule an appointment to meet with your PS. Best of luck!

Yes,this is common and is seen in about 10% patients out of all patient who under go BA,in the life of a PS.
I resolve them with pain killers and it take sup to 4 weeks for such pain to settle amicably.
