I want porcelain veneers on top and bottom teeth. What to do about my teeth? (Photos)

Why veneers? Are the veneers to straighten your teeth or change the shape and color too? In my opinion, veneers is overkill for improving your smile. Your teeth are beautiful and just need to be straight. To put veneers on your teeth now would require a lifetime of maintenance for those veneers and likely replacement in the future. A better solution would be to use clear aligners (Invisalign, for example) to straighten and bleach your teeth then place permanent retainers to keep them straight. Good luck!

You had braces but did not wear retainers. The lower teeth have moved and are misaligned. Your bite looks like the lower teeth are infront of the upper teeth. Veneers would not be recommended as the lower teeth are sticking out and would involve a lot of reduction. In my experience you can have fixed braces for upper and lower teeth and a fixed retainer, or veneers for the upper teeth for an instant solution and maybe fixed or Invisalign braces for the lower teeth.

I would recommend aligning the teeth and then consider whitening and then  consider minor cosmetic fillings and shaping of your teeth to get the desired cosmetic result. You could align the teeth with Invisalign if you don't want traditional braces .  This can work very well.
I would only advise you consider veneers on what look like health  unfilled teeth as you last and most invasive option.
Consider the long term implications carefully before you commit. 
Some veneers are no prep in other words the tooth is not touched and the veneers is bonded on the tooth - this has a disadvantage of having a small step where the veneer margin fits on the tooth. It may also make your teeth “stick out “a little more so it has to be carefully assess  beforehand. 
Traditional veneers involve removing some  of your  tooth enamel.  
 The disadvantages of veneers is that the process while theoretically reversible with no prep veneers and  is definitely  irreversible  with traditional prep veneers  . As one gets older there is normally some recession so that the veneers would likely need replacing at some point.  This is costly and involves again  touching and  adjusting your tooth tissue again .Furthermore there can be complications with any procedure including veneers - they can chip or  come off (debond),  and the tooth that has been prepared and  has had some its enamel removed  has a greater chance of requiring a root filling in the long term than an unprepared tooth.

Don't feel bad, most people forget to wear there retainers. Placing upper and lower veneers will instantly straighten your smile. You won't need Invisalign after having the veneers placed as your teeth will be instantly straightened with the porcelain. I do recommend that you get a permanent lower retainer and an upper night guard to hold your teeth in place so they wont move after the veneers!
Definitely seek an expert cosmetic dentist who has successfully treated cases similar to yours.

There are two choices here: porcelain veneers now, or braces and THEN porcelain veneers.  If you are planning on porcelain veneers no matter what, I would simply do them now and save the time/money.
