Recently had braces. Stopped wearing retainer. I had braces on both my top and bottom teeth and completed the full treatment. Forgot to put my retainers on most nights. Only my bottom teeth became affected and are now misaligned. Is it possible to get the veneers put on first, then invisalign, and then a permanently placed retainer inside my teeth? Or is there a particular order I need to do it in? I don't want to deal with removable retainers since I will not keep track of wearing them.

Answer: Porcelain Veneers Thank you for sending your question and pictures. It would be ideal first to have invisalign to correct the alignments of your teeth, then to consider for placement of porcelain veneers. I am confident your final results will look spectacular. Feel free to come in for a private complimentary consultation to discuss the details of the treatment at one of my locations. All the best.

Answer: Veneers or Braces Why veneers? Are the veneers to straighten your teeth or change the shape and color too? In my opinion, veneers is overkill for improving your smile. Your teeth are beautiful and just need to be straight. To put veneers on your teeth now would require a lifetime of maintenance for those veneers and likely replacement in the future. A better solution would be to use clear aligners (Invisalign, for example) to straighten and bleach your teeth then place permanent retainers to keep them straight. Good luck!
