My armpits, elbows, knees, corner of mouth, groin/inner thigh area is a GRAYISH-BROWN color. I have done laser hair removal in those areas as well. Cosmelan helps for Melasma, but my pigmentation is grayish, not brown... Will Cosmelan be able to help me in this case? Has it been done before? I have done research and some say that chemical peels can make this worse by irritating the skin. Why? How? I do not have PCOS and I don't think I have acanthosis nigricans because my neck isn't darker.

We deal with this type of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation a lot. I would recommend starting the Melarase Brightening Kit regimen followed by Clear and Brilliant laser later to enhance effect.

Cosmelan Mask is an exceptional peel used to treat hyperpigmentation (Melasma), as well as improve the texture and tone of the skin. Although Cosmelan does not reveal its formulation they do provide their active ingredients.
