Hydroquinone as pre-treatment preparation to micro-needling treatment?

salsadancer123
Hydroquinone seems to be recommended for laser resurfacing treatments as pre-treatment preparation to reduce risks of PIH. The recommendation appears to be to start using it for a few weeks leading up to the day of the laser treatment. However, there doesn't seem to be much on the same use of hydroquinone, a few weeks before a micro-needling treatment, to reduce the risks of PIH. Why is this? Should it also recommended to use hydroquinone leading up to an aggressive micro-needling treatment?
