If I get fillers right before pregnancy will they swell? I know fluid retention during pregnancy is expected, Will the fillers swell along with everything else? Am I better off waiting until after pregnancy?

I do not see a correlation with pregnancy and filler swelling. can fillers swell? yes. but typically pregnancy doesnt make them change especially ones that dont hold water like versa. I suggest you see an expert also sculptra is a good alternative before pregnancy so you keep volume during your weight changes.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question. If you are planning on becoming pregnant it is recommended to avoid getting filler. If you do get filler and become pregnant then there is a high chance that you can experience some swelling. Hope this helps!
