Hello. I have a weak chin and a small overbite. I was thinking in getting chin augmentation but I would also like to know how to fix or treat this dent/dimple in my mouth area, causing marionette lines.

Thank you for the question. It is impossible to fully assess this with a single photo and without seeing you in person, however I can give you some options. Some people with overbites will have an overactive mentalis muscle (one of the muscles of the chin), and this can lead to dimpling of the chin. This type of dimpling does not actually respond to filler, but instead best responds to botox. If the dimples are occuring at rest and not with animation, filler could be an answer. Filler can also be used to improve balance to an overall weak or underprojected chin. Surgical correction with a chin implant is also an option. I hope this helps.
