In general, 200 cc per breast is typically the upper limit of fat injection recommended by most plastic surgeons.  It is not that more cannot be injected; but on average, this has been determined to be the most that can be expected to live during one transfer. Fat transfer to the breast could improve the fullness of the breast, particularly at the top of the breast. If you want more than a one cup size increase, this may require multiple treatments to reach the size you desire.  You have to consider not only which areas will have perhaps the best fat, but also you have to consider which donor sites will have the fewest problems afterward with the liposuction.  In general, the abdomen and thighs are preferred, but, if those sites are not available, other areas can be used.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination but based on your photos, it looks like you might have enough fat to consider fat transfer to breasts. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Excellent questions. My first question is why can't you do your activities? I will usually let my patients return to full chest activities 6 months after an augmentation. If a patient is an extreme weightlifter or cross-fit competitor, then we discuss the risks and benefits of placing the implants above the muscle. 2- In order to have about a 280 cc filling with fat you would need about 600-700 ccs of fat removed. I am not sure that you have that much. |It is best to talk with a board certified plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns.

You would need to be examined to see what is fat and not skin or muscle. Just based on your photos, you probably do not have enough fat to achieve the same size as with implants with one transfer. I would suggest discussing your concerns with your doctor.

Fat transfer to the breasts is possible, but you may require multiple stages to be done safely as well as have a noticeable effect. It is difficult to assess if you have enough fat from photos alone. It is best to have an in-office evaluation of your fat and skin quality as well as a thorough medical history to make sure you are an eligible candidate for the procedure. Hope this helps!Johnson C. You should first discuss with your surgeon your concerns about activities that you can't engage in due to your breast implants.Unfortunately, you didn't list these activities which could help in answering your question and even the consideration for seeking fat injections. It is quite unusual, otherwise, that such relatively small implants are "preventing" you from engaging in many activities. You can also discuss considerations for fat injections either with your surgeon or a board certified plastic surgeon who does perform breast augmentations with fat.Steven Turkeltaub,  MD 

First of all, adding 250cc to each breasts will not lead to a final volume of 250cc. You will lose 30-50% of the fat volume injected over 3-6 months after the surgery. If 250ccc is placed in each breast about 125cc will be left once this volume loss happens. If your liposuction was 6 months ago, yes those areas can be liposuctioned again if there is excess fat left there.
