Hello and thank you for your question. Coolsculpting is a safe treatment that only targets fat cells without causing damage to surrounding tissue, veins and organs. Controlled cooling and time effectively target fat cells only. Best of luck.
Thanks for your question and I understand your concern. CoolSculpting uses cryolipolysis or controlled cooling. Scientists discovered cryolipolysis for fat reduction when they learned that fat freezes at a higher temperature than other cells of the body. This means the procedure effectively targets fat cells without damaging surrounding tissue, skin, veins, or organs. When this treatment is performed by an experienced, board-certified doctor with extensive training in the device, the procedure is both safe and effective.
Hi thanks for your question. CoolSculpting is a very safe procedure that only targets pockets of fat, and will not harm any surrounding tissue, and will not penetrate deep enough to harm any veins or organs. We always recommend that you get your treatment done at a certified CoolSculpting practice as your CoolSculpting provider will be most experienced, which will ensure the best result for you. If you have any further questions or concerns about the procedure don't hesitate to speak to your CoolSculpting provider. Also make sure to book an in person consultation before you decide to have the treatment in order to ensure that this is the correct procedure for you.
CoolSculpting will not affect organs or veins at all during a treatment. The temperature during the treatment will get low enough to lead to destruction of fat cells, but it is not low enough to damage the skin or blood vessels. Organs are too deep to be affected in any way.
Thank you for your questionThe temp that coolsculpting goes down to does not affect anything but fat so rest assured you have nothing to worry about!
CoolSculpting is a purely non-invasive treatment involving the use of a vacuum applicator that sucks in the treatment area and freezes the underlying fat without damaging or penetrating the surrounding skin or healthy cells in the body. This penetrates below the skin causing permanent elimination of fat. It can be administered in a variety of areas on the body, including the jaw and chin area, lower and upper abdomen, back, arms, and thighs.
Dear Mey1286:What a good question! Veins absolutely do not freeze during CoolSculpting. This is because at a lower temperature than what would freeze water, fat will freeze. So the temperature is very carefully controlled during the procedure, and it never gets low enough to freeze water. This is also the reason that the skin overlying fat does not freeze but the fat cells will die. Also, did you know that strictly speaking fat does not “freeze” during a CoolSculpting procedure? The temperature of fat and skin are brought low enough to cause injury to fat cells such that they enter the terminal phase of the cell cycle, and apoptosis or programmed cell death then occurs slowly over several months. It is not necessary to actually bring the temperature low enough to freeze fat, and the device does not do that. I hope this helps!Sheryl Clark MD FAAD
Coolsculpting selectively targets the fat that is "pinched up" into the applicator. Organs cannot be "pinched up" into the applicator, so they are unaffected. The temperature/ time required for coolsculpting success selectively targets fat and is not cold or long enough to destroy the veins.
Hi and thanks for your question. Coolsculpting applicators will not interfere with organs or veins. The "freezing" does not go deep enough to harm organs/veins. Hope this helps!
Hello and thank you for your question. Coolsculpting does not reach any veins or organs. It is designed to only go low enough to freeze fat. Hope this eases your concerns. Have a great day!Holly, RN
Thank you for your question and photos. Unfortunately, I do not think you would be a good candidate for CoolSculpting. Even though CoolSculpting would help you achieve fat loss around the abdomen, CoolSculpting does not address skin tightness. Removing the fatty tissue behind the loose skin ...
Hello and thank you for your question. Liposuction is more than likely the best solution. Cool Sculpting could work but you need to be seen in person in order to determine which is the best option. Best wishes.Dr. T
Thank you for your question, if you have small problem areas you can use non invasive methods like Coolsculpting with Vanquish or trusculpt iD to get small areas of fat reduced. Skin also tightens if you combine this with Exilis Ultra, Venus Legacy, and Inmode Forma/Contoura radiofrequency...
