What is bodyfx and its costs?

All radiofrequency/massage devices are similar.  I find that velashape and legacy work the best.  These require a series of treatments by someone who is well trained.  The most important thing is that the person performing the procedure does it often and can do a series of treatments pretty close together and then cut it down over time to maintain results.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Body Fx is a new technology that uses radio frequency to reduce cellulite, tighten skin and reduce fat. Some RF tightens skin but body Fx reduces both with an additional emission of high voltage short duration of RF to lyse fat cells. It shrinks ski and destroys fat cells around 30% after 6 treatments. 

Thank you for the question. BodyFx is a new type of non-invasive system. It uses radio frequency energy to tighten skin, remove fat and reduce the appearance of cellulite. During the procedure vacuum and radio frequency energy tighten skin and the fibrous attachments that result in cellulite. It also uses short bursts of high voltage energy to disrupt the wall of the fat cell resulting in their eventual death. The treatments are once a week for a total of 6 weeks. It will treat any areas of stubborn fat or cellulite. 

 This is yet one more radio frequency device aimed at reducing cellulite and tightening the skin. It uses a combination of vacuum, heat and radiofrequency energy. I'm not saying these technologies have no usefulness but I would set expectations on the low side prior to investing in these treatments. Prices vary but in my opinion the Limited results makes these treatments on the expensive side.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
