I would love to get a BBL within the next year or so, so I'm doctor and price shopping. I'm in the LA area, but am willing to travel for the right price and doctor.
Answer: Cost of Brazilian buttock lift Price should only be one factor in the decision making process of choosing a plastic surgeon, for any procedure. All plastic surgeons are not the same so be careful when comparing doctors because you can not assume you will get the best result at the lowest price. I doubt you will find an experienced plastic surgeon to do that procedure for 5000. The time involved to perform the procedure properly is typically worth much more. Consult with a few board certified plastic surgeons in person to determine if you are a good candidate and then only use cost as a small factor in choosing the right doctor for you.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno

Answer: BBL for 5K BBL cost takes into account the amount of fat that needs to be transferred and the time it takes to harvest and inject it. I have done limited BBL's which only treat the flanks and back to contour the back side and use the fat obtained to get as much fullness in the buttock as possible. This may work for some patients who have adequate amount of fat on their back, but it is not a complete procedure, since it will do nothing to improve the front view. But if cost is a concern, limited BBL may be an option. The front may be done at a later date and additional fat may be injected at that time, but that will end up costing more than than if the complete procedure was done in the first place.

Answer: What goes into the price for a BBL? The cost of Brazilian Butt Lift is dependent on 5 things: 1. How Much Liposuction being performed? 2. How Much Fat are is being injected?3. Surgeon's Experience/Expertise 4. Surgery Center Credentials (Safety Checks)5. Anesthesia Costs Why? 1 A Brazilian Butt Lift is achieved first by sculpting the flanks, waist, butt and hips with liposuction. The contouring of the torso and buttock is the most important part of the procedure. This is what separates a good result from an AMAZING result! As the amount of liposuction to be performed increases, the prices also increases. 2 The more fat you want injected (or the bigger the butt you want), the more fat needs to harvested and purified. The purification process is extremely important. When fat is harvested there is a bunch of junk that comes with it (water, blood, tissue etc); injecting a high concentration of this "non-fat" particles will cause your butt to be swollen initially; but will decrease with time! In fact, I believe this is the reason why some people complain that their Brazilian Butt Lift did not last (after the swelling went down). Why am I discussing this? Because, unfortunately, the fat separation/purification takes time in the operating room; and this is not something that can be "sped-up" and definitely not something you want "short-cutted"3. Surgeon Experience/Expertise and Results are a cost driver. You get what you pay for.4. Surgey Centers have certification levels. This can be thought of as safety checks. THE BIGGEST PRICE SKIMPING IS IN THIS AREA. When you here about disease outbreaks or non-sterile equipment...this is where that comes from. If you cut cost, it gets cut here and that is a bad idea.5. Anesthesia Costs; this are the costs to keep you asleep, stop you from waking up mid-surgery, and to make sure you don't die during the case. Again this is scary one to cut costs on.In my practice a BBL starts around $7,900.

Answer: Brazilian Butt Lift/ Fat grafting/Liposuction/ High Definition Procedures/Butt Implants I appreciate your question. I have done many Brazilian Butt lift procedures and specialize in body contouring. Cost varies by geographic location, surgeon expertise, OR time, anesthesia, length of procedure etc. I would recommend that you go to The American Society of Plastic Surgery website and look for a list of board certified plastic surgeons in your area. You can call their offices in advance and ask for quotes prior to scheduling consultations. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Brazilians and price we all realize price is important. For some people this is a substantial financial outlay. The two things you should remember are these.Cosmetic surgery is The longest lasting investment you'll ever make it.It's for the rest of your life. This is longer than any other investment you are most likely own including homes cars etc.The difference in outcome from different providers as dramatic. Some people are left disfigured for life while others enjoy the body transformation that gives happiness on a daily basis. One of my old professors used to say I don't shop for bargains when it comes to parachutes or cosmetic surgery.$5000 will be the low-end of a Brazilian done by board-certified plastic surgeon in Southern California. You may be able to find someone to do it for just a few thousand dollars more. There's no need to pay $12-$15,000 for this procedure. It is however important to go to someone who has talent and experience.Expect to find discounts with doctors that don't have good reputations, are either very early in their career or possibly late in their career or lack proper qualifications. These procedures should always be done by board-certified plastic surgeon's.You will also find substantially lower prices when traveling to developing nations like Mexico or the Dominican republic. In my opinion traveling to these countries for cosmetic surgery is a big mistake. Why there are talented physicians in most countries do United States has the highest overall medical standards in the world. If it was me I would take advantage of having some of the most talented physicians in the world available locally.Patients also don't take into consideration the very real nature of surgery and that follow up is important, complications really do happen and the number of people requiring touch up procedures is higher than people think.I suggest you start interviewing plastic surgeons locally.Look for board-certified plastic surgeon's who have particular expertise in this procedure and get a variety of price quotes. Some plastic surgeons have prices that are not negotiable while others may be able to adjust the price somewhat for those who are financially strapped.Financing may be an option but you will need to be creditworthy for that amount of money.Your budget is close enough that if you wait and save some money you should be able to get this done by someone who is appropriately talented. Real self has excellent data on actual prices people paid for various procedures. This may help you as well. When reviewing plastic surgeons it's important to look for reviews on multiple websites.Be cautious of doctors who have many reviews on only one or two websites but lack reviews on others. This can be a sign that reviews are being manipulated.Doctors who have earned their reviews as organic meaning they are inspired by the patients without being asked tend to have reviews on yelp, real self, rate M.D., health grades, and others.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
