The question pretty much speaks for itself. I have an asymmetrical nose which is very noticeable. I try to ignore it when looking at the mirror but it seems that it just ruins the whole facial symmetry.
Answer: Nasal asymmetry Nasal asymmetry is quite common. Correction of the problem is possible with rhinoplasty depending on how crooked your nose is. However, it is difficult to get complete correction in many cases and you should be aware of that prior to proceeding with surgery.

Answer: asymmetry of the nose and asymmetry of the face Asymmetry of the nose and asymmetry of the face are 2 completely separate issues that can be found together, or separately. An asymmetrical nose is usually the result of trauma when the nose becomes crooked. To straighten a crooked and and asymmetrical nose usually requires osteotomies placed in the nasal bones, a spreader graft placed in the mid portion of the nose and a tip rhinoplasty with a combination of cartilage removal or cartilage grafting techniques. A full set of facial photographs are required before making any determination.

Answer: Asymmetrical nose Hi and thanks for your question. Yes is the simple answer but an asymmetrical nose can also be part of a picture where there are other asymmetrical facial features. As the nose is located in the middle of your face any asymmetries will be quite noticeable. I would recommend a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who is very experienced in rhinoplasty. Best of luck!

Answer: Nasal asymmetry At first glance, one is immediately drawn to the shape and position of the nose and eyes. This is followed by scanning the aspects of the remainder of the face. Therefore, even mild nasal asymmetry is often very noticable. This can then distort the entire facial recognition process. Correction of the asymmetry can provide dramatic improvements. As always, it is very important to personally consult with a board-certified Plastic Surgeon.
