8 weeks post op lift and aug..As you can see, my breasts don’t have that pretty teardrop shape and look more like torpedoes with bulging in the upper pole and no definition between upper pole and breast and nipples pointing downward. I also don’t have cleavage. I am 8 weeks post op and want to know if these issues will improve? My breasts look pretty in bras and clothes but not so much naked yet.
Answer: 8 weeks post-op Great question! You are still in the very early stages of healing. Anytime breast implants are placed, they always sit high and can take several months for them to "drop" to its correct lower position. I would continue to wait and see how the shape progresses over the next few months. Continue to see your plastic surgeon for routine followups.Best of luck and hope this information helps! - Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsai Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Unhappy Augmentation Mastopexy Hello,You neglected to mention you also had a breast lift performed. Unfortunately, augmentation mastopexy carries the highest rate of complications and re-operations. This is mostly due to higher rates of capsular contracture, poor wound healing leading to tissue injury and scaring, and general shape issues. Your issue appears to be the latter, with insufficient lift and placement of the nipples. At 8 weeks, you may experience further decent of the implants which would improve overall breast shape and nipple position. If you are unhappy at 6 months, go visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons who specialize in revision breast surgery. Best of luck!

Answer: BA results Dear liveinspired,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation and lift surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation and lift surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: HIGH BREAST IMPLANTS Thank you for sharing your pictures. You are just 8 weeks out from surgery and it takes time to heal. In your pictures it looks like your implants are high and have not fully dropped into the pocket, This could take up to 6 months to be in the correct position. Make sure you call your board certified Plastic surgeon with any concerns you my have. Best of luck to you.

Answer: 8 weeks post op breast lift and augmentation, 325cc silicone under the muscle. Will the shape improve? Hello dear!! Thanks for your question and provided information. You are still early on healing process. Right now you might have one breast bigger than the other, feel swollen and also have bruises, it is normal and can happen for the first 3 to 4 months, until your implants have dropped and settle in. If the situation doesn't improve over time, I suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
