Just had my 6 upper front crowns of 16 years replaced last week and now I have a couple of very small black triangles that pass saliva and air through when speaking. While the look is a significant improvement, the feeling Is driving me crazy. Dr said to give it a month or so and they should close. Is this true? He didn’t seem too receptive to redoing. This is causing me significant emotional distress.

You need to see a dentist to have the bite adjusted. This is one of the problems with vacation dentistry. The original dentist that placed the restorations isn't available to you to manage any problems. And it's likely that another dentist doesn't want to take on the responsibility or liability...
