How Long Does It Take to Completely Heal from a BBL?

I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 7-10 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol. 
I also recommend not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. It is very important that you talk to him and follow his instructions.

         The initial recovery usually takes 7 to 14 days depending upon the amount liposuctioned and the amount transferred.  Swelling may take 3 to 6 months to resolve.  I perform about 500 Brazilian buttlifts each year, and this procedure is the most surgeon dependent plastic surgery procedure.  Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.

Healing from a BBL is largely from the liposuction harvest part of it. Depending upon the number of harvest sites and what type of work you are trying to recover to, it could be anywhere from  10 to 14 days. This is not a full recovery but enough recovery that you could at least return to work in some capacity.
