I don't think that there is a right or wrong answer to this question. As long as the skin remains healthy and you don't end up with an infection, you are probably safe to proceed with body art a month after surgery. If there is ever a concern with wound healing, infection, or prolonged swelling from inflammation, I would wait until the skin and body feel normal.

Feeling knots after liposuction is common and should go away with time but it takes patience. Typically swelling takes about 3 months to go down but the knots can take longer. Keep an eye on it and follow up with your surgeon if it doesn't resolve within a year. ac
