How long after liposuction should I wait to get a body piercing /tattoo?

I'm getting lipo on prett much my whole upper body and a bbl . How long should I wait before getting a belly button piercing or a tattoo. I'm 18 years old, btw.

"lipotuck" is a term coined by a local plastic surgeon in Houston that describes liposuction combined with a tummy tuck.  (genius bit of marketing, kudos to the doctor).  In truth, most plastic surgeons perform tummy tucks in combination with liposuction.  Good luck and be safe...

In my opinion, the end point of liposuction can vary from patient to patient and can be as long as 6-8 months.  The knots may be post operative scarring, swelling, inflammatory reaction, etc.  I do think it is too early to tell, at least from the limited information presented here...

I empathize with your concerns.  However, I cannot comment specifically on your condition since "got upper/lower abdomen done" doesn't tell me anything about what kind of surgery was performed.  Liposuction?  Abdominoplasty? Both?  Generally speaking, swelling is not uncommon...

Firmness can last about 6-8 weeks or longer as your body recovers. Good work on performing massage and compresses. If the firmness doesn't go away, please see your surgeon to discuss your results. You may want to ask them now about what you can do to soften areas of concern.
