Can you restart laser hair removal again after you've stopped treatment?

It is not clear why you stopped but yes, you should be able to restart your treatments.  Most people require at least 6 – 12 treatments at regular intervals.  You should schedule a follow-up consultation with a Board Certified Dermatologist.

You can absolutely restart laser hair removal treatments after stopping.  However, laser hair removal works best by repeatedly and consistently attacking the follicle producing unwanted hair.  There may be some backsliding from any progress achieved in initial sessions as the previously distressed or damaged hair follicles may have regained some of their ability to produce hair.  
That being said, there is no substitute for an in person visit with a certified medical professional to discuss restarting laser hair removal.

You may resume laser hair removal now.  Laser hair removal works on the follicles that are actively growing (not all follicles in an area are in the active growth phase).  Your next treatment intervals are spaced so that active follicles are growing again.  This varies from person to person and is influenced by your hormone activity and how often you shave in the area.  The number of treatments necessary for hair clearance varies from person to person, but generally at least 6 sessions are necessary.  However, in some people, it can take up to a year or more to achieve clearance.
