Will laser hair removal also lighten my freckles?

I’v got pale skin, freckles and dark brown hair. I am starting laser hair removal on my legs and arms. I am getting six sessions for each area. They are using Cynosure Elite lasers, my question is will the laser also lighten the freckles on my arm?thank you in advance

Because the laser targets pigment, it’s possible that it could lighten your freckles somewhat. For some people, changes to their skin’s appearance are only temporary following laser hair removal, whereas others may see slight permanent effects. If you’re looking to get rid of your freckles, LHR isn’t going to be the most effective solution. However, if you’re worried about losing them, this is something you’ll want to discuss with your provider before moving forward. Good luck!

It could but depending on the laser strength and the wave length used, the lightening of your freckles could be temporary. I would not depend on your laser hair removal as a fix for your freckles.
