1 day post op subglandular Breast Augmentation, how much the size will reduce once swelling has gone down?

Generally, I tell patients that immediately post surgery to expect one cup size of swelling, so it is possible that when the swelling goes down, you'll find that your size is a little bit smaller than you expected. I hope it's not, but that sometimes happens. Good luck!

Thanks for your question.  There is not reliable way to predict your final size because everyone swells to a different extent after surgery.  After several months you will have a better sense of the final size.

Unfortunately, there is no consistent way to predict how much swelling any patient will get, or how much swelling will go down over a period of time after surgery for any given patient. Essentially, you will need to wait several weeks to a few months to see your final outcome. Continue to follow your surgeon's recommendations to assist you in this process. Wishing you all the best.
