I have had a few 1ml Restylane and Uma Jeunesse injected in my lips. In the past month I have noticed a lump on my upper lip so I went to a clinic to have hyaluronidase injected to dissolve the lump. 5 days later the bump got very swollen and painfull. Is this normal? The clinic I went to is closed over the weekend so I will most probably not get a reply until then.

No matter how much hyaluronidase is injected, Sculptra won't respond to it. When you state granulomas, you must have redness, tenderness, and swelling. If it is just nodularity, that is different. Granulomas are treated with antibiotics and 5FU injections. Nodules, just 5FU, Kenalog are used....
I use a micro dose technique to reduce filler complications with hyaluronidase. It is actually a very safe product if used correctly.Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
