Is swelling post hyaluronidase normal? (Photos)

I have had a few 1ml Restylane and Uma Jeunesse injected in my lips. In the past month I have noticed a lump on my upper lip so I went to a clinic to have hyaluronidase injected to dissolve the lump. 5 days later the bump got very swollen and painfull. Is this normal? The clinic I went to is closed over the weekend so I will most probably not get a reply until then.

Swelling is not very common after correctly placed Hyaluronidase injections. I would suggest SwellX tablets to reduce inflammation at this point. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon

Hi Victoria.  Hyaluronidase is only designed to dissolve Hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Voluma.  If you are on your 7th treatment, it's likely that none f the product is left.  If you have pictures from before treatment, we would recommend checking them vs...
