Thanks for your question.  Your photos demonstrate perfectly normal healing after lower eyelid surgery.  You eyelid position is excellent and the bruising/swelling is completely normal.Chalazion removal is predominately done from a transconjunctival approach, but could be approached externally as well.  From your photos, I actually cannot see an incision unless it is related to the "bubble".  Yes, all incisions leave a scar.  The question is will the scar heal to be imperceptible (most likely - YES).  Eyelid swelling can be significant whenever this thin tissue is manipulated and will go down quickly over the next 10-14 days.Remain patient, focus on your recovery, and discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
