5 days post op Botox, no change. Any suggestions?

Hi all, I had botox five days ago, there is still no difference what so ever??? Ive had botox before and see a difference before this. My doctor is a top well known doctor so know it isn't to do with that?

Botox results can take up to a week to fully appear; generally, people see results in anywhere from 3 to 7 days. If you still see no change after waiting another few days, visit your doctor again for a follow-up. You may require a touch-up, if the amount of units injected was too little. Most doctors prefer to inject conservatively, as it is easier to add more than to correct a bad result from injecting too much at first. I would also compare your results now to a “before” picture, if you have one - it could be that you are beginning to see results but they are coming on gradually.

question in regards to Botox.Botox typically takes 5-10 days to see results, and up to 14 days for total correction. After two weeks, contact your provider for a follow up appointment to discuss your concerns and possibility of additional units needed. To be sure, see two
or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to
make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have

Botox usually takes 2 or 3 days to start to
work, and will continue to improve over the first 7 to 10 days. The full affect
is typically achieved after 14 days.
Should you not notice any improvements after 14 days, I'd recommend booking a follow-up appointment with your qualified injector.

Hello. I understand your frustration. Generally speaking patients see results in 3-4 days, but that is just a generalization. Some patients won't see full results from their Botox treatment for 7-10 days.  Wait a few more days and if you still are not seeing results visit the doctor who performed the treatment so he/she can evaluate.

Botox wrinkle treatment result take about 3 to 4 days to show up. In some patients it may take up to a week to show the full results.Sometimes, same Botox injection technique with the same licensed injector could have suboptimal result. This could be secondary to multiple factors. In these cases, patients should get a touch up after 1 week of treatment to achieve the desired results

Most of my patients say that they notice best results when they have their subsequent treatments within 3-6 months. If you choose to wait 6-12 months, you may not achieve the best results possible. It can take up to 10 days to see the full effect of Botox. If you do have any lines remaining after a treatment, you may want to consider a chemical or laser peel in conjunction with Botox treatments

Botox begins to work at 3 days.  it takes maximum effect at 14 days.   It slowly wears off over a period of three months.  Give it a bit more time.  If at two weeks, you are not satisfied, see your injector for a consult.
