Chances of having an infection after axillary breast tissue removal?

Asked By:asdfhhjkl in London, GB

I had axillary breast tissue removed from both my armpits a week ago as well as an accessory nipple under my right breast. My right armpit & right breast have both been healing & are almost pain free. However, since I changed my bandages my right armpit is extremely painful & is starting to swell. Do I have an infection? Should I be worried?
