I was considering to do tear through filler but I got a bit scared cuz most of the reviews I read about it it says it migrate or the outcome isn’t good, but some people had excellent results also so I am confused. Would I be a good candidate to get this kind of fillers?
Answer: Dark circles under the eyes: Non-surgical treatment options are available Hello, and thank you for providing photos along with your question. Based on these images, you do appear to have hollowing or darkening under the eyes, which could make you an ideal candidate for tear trough filler. By injecting small amounts of filler into this area, the skin will become plump and supple, lifting the skin and smoothing out the visible groove in the skin. My office uses a microcannula to treat this area, since it produces the smoothest result while minimizing bruising and swelling after treatment. To learn more about fillers and how you can benefit from them, I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon, particularly one with extensive experience with injectables. Your surgeon can assess your skin quality, customize the best treatment plan, and ensure the best possible results.

Answer: Improving Under Eye / Tear Trough with Injectable Fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk) -- add Lasers, Microneedling/PRP Fillers like Belotero, Volbella, and Restylane Silk are good for improving under the eyes, but keep in mind that a combination approach will give the most improvement. My patients try to get non-surgical treatments to avoid surgery, so we use fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP and stem cells. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for you. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Tear Trough Filler From your photos it appears you are a candidate for tear trough filler. The key is to have your treatment by an expert injector and to select the correct filler for this area. The treatment is done in the office and the results last up to a year. Answer: Tear Trough Filler From your pictures, you appear to be an excellent candidate. The reason for all the confusion is that a huge majority of injectors doing the tear trough area are not experts who use the wrong filler injected into the wrong place. Unfortunately, the technique they use keeps getting perpetuated by those taught by the original injectors who haven't changed to the more current methodology which is completely different. Filling of this area should be done with a heavy filler like Juvederm Voluma placed deep on the bone or muscle below the orbital ligament. Most injectors use a light filler like Restyalne, Belatero Balance, Juvederm Volbella, etc. placed superficially above the ligament where it can "appear" to migrate and clog the lymphatics and cause swelling. Be very careful who you see for this.
