Use of Juvederm nose filler after rhinoplasty?

The short answer is yes.  The long answer is that you want to be sure that all the swelling is down from the rhinoplasty.  My suggestion is to wait at least 8 to 12 months post surgery to add filler.  Hope this helps. Good luck Dr Vasisht

Hello Jon Gates,It is possible to start using Juvederm to camouflage your rhinoplasty imperfections.  The only issue with starting it after only a few months is that you would still have swelling present so as that swelling goes down, it may make the Juvederm become more noticeable.  To avoid this stay conservative with your filler.  I hope this helps and good luck.

Just remember you can have significant swelling after rhinoplasty, and may need to wait 6 to 8 months for the swelling to completely resolve. Small amounts of filler can resolve the dent. However, this is a very advanced procedure and must be performed by a very experienced injector. This is further complicated in a post rhinoplasty patient, for the vascularity of the nose can be altered, and potential complications can be serious.
