I unfortunately spent many years using relaxers and weaves, braids, etc such that my hair is suffering from traction Alopecia. Currently I have cut out the relaxed and damage hair and I am using Minoxidil to treat my edges where my hair has began falling out/receding. I am rather young so I do believe that with proper care my hair will return however I do not want to use my scalp hair for my eyebrow transplant. Are eyebrow transplants possible for patients who don't want to use scalp hair?

In regards to your eyebrow hair restoration I would seek a consult with a board certified surgeon who has experience and success with hair transplantation. Getting injectables such as Botox/Filler will not cause any reactions to your eyebrows.Best,Dr. Anil Shah, MD FACS
