Question

I unfortunately spent many years using relaxers and weaves, braids,etc such that my hair is suffering from traction Alopecia. Currently I have cut out the relaxed and damage hair and I am using Minoxidil to treat my edges where my hair has began falling out/receding. I am rather young so I do believe that with proper care my hair will return however I do not want to use my scalp hair for my eyebrow transplant. Are eyebrow transplants possible for patients who don't want to use scalp hair?

You presently have extensive hair loss on the sides of your head and you suggested that it may be from traction alopecia or Alopecia Areata. The former, I would suggest that you wait out the anlagen cycle which is about 6 months, rarely more. The later may be more of a problem which will require a dermatologist to treat it, The eyebrows require a sit-down with the doctor you choose.
