What's the difference between the old Thermage device and the new Thermage CPT?

What's the difference between the old thermage device and the new thermue CPT? Do you have to feel burned and hot in the procedure with the thermage CPT to have a lift effect?

Actually the newest Thermage device, which came out in late 2017 is the Thermage FLX. Which each subsequent iteration of the device, there have been improvements in comfort, speed, and efficiency.

The new Thermage CPT works better and is more comfortable.  The Thermage CPT produces new collagen and tightens through radiofrequency. The main difference is the CPT tip and its technology which allows one to have deeper heating and increased comfort and skin tightening results.  Best, Dr. Green
