8 days ago I had lipo done in the Dominican Republic on my stomach and back (love handles) and I am still very swollen. My stomach actually looks bigger now then it did pre op. How long does it take for swelling to go down

Your garment sounds too tight.Never wear a garment that is uncomfortable or causing such symptoms.Consider a lighter girdle such as Spanx, if your surgeon recommends wearing one.After a month, it may be ok to stop the garment. Ask your surgeon. Best wishes.
