My nose seems to slant to one side when looking directly at my face. I am wondering how noticeable it is to other people and if there is anything I can do about it?

You have a significantly deviated nose which is in need of a septorhinoplasty procedure to straighten it. Once the nose is straighter your overall face will be more symmetric.

A closed rhinoplasty approach can address straightening the crooked and slanted nose. This involves placing all the incisions on the inside of the nose and straightening it. Osteotomies of the nasal bones are required to straighten them. Sometimes a cartilaginous spreader graft is placed underneath a concave upper lateral cartilage in the mid-portion of the nose. Your nose deviates to the right.  I suspect you had some trauma to it growing up.  The septum may also be crooked.  The procedure to try to correct it is called a septorhinoplasty. I have attached  a web reference below,
