I used to squeeze my pores continuously to excrete sebaceous filaments that I thought were a problem. But now I have really damaged skin on my nose. There are uneven levels of these layers, in the form of patches (it looks a bit like a topographic map now). Could a laser resurfacing or dermabrasion procedure lend skin from the higher layers on the topography (per say) of my skin to the lower layers (where skin is now lost) and even it all out or even regenerate the lost layers? I'm 24 yrs; male.
Answer: Vbeam can reduce redness pigmentation and LaseMD can help reduce pore size Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. Answer: Nasal Skin Concerns It's difficult to give any personalized recommendations without pictures and an exam. However, a resurfacing procedure, such as a CO2 or Erbium laser may be just what you need. I'd also recommend that you consult with an aesthetician for good skin care products and long-term skincare.

Answer: Uneven skin An exam is needed to give the best recommendation. Laser resurfacing can certainly help improve skin texture. You may find improvement with Morpheus8 as well which combines RF technology with microneedling to improve overall skin tone and texture. Answer: Consider Professionally Performed Manual Microneedling For Treating Skin Texture & Color Irregularities Sorry that you are having this problem. You might wish to consider the use of professionally performed manual microneedling (no need for the added expense and risks of RF microneedling) for blending the problem areas better with the surrounding normal skin. In your search, you will no doubt offers for fraxel treatments, etc. However, I have been cautioning my regular followers for years to exercise caution when evaluating them (as well as when considering many of the other so-called, light and energy-based gizmos out there), since the hard science to back up the marketing hype and social media buzz that surrounds them lags woefully behind the hype. And, if there is a skin of color issue, there is also an elevated concern for engendering pigmentary problems following laser and energy-based treatments. Manual microneedling, on the other hand, which I have been performing for over twenty-three years has a long safety and efficacy track record for use in all skin types and is also very useful for treating enlarged pores and other skin textural irregularities. Hope this helps and best of luck.
