I had successful Lipoma removal surgery from the back of my head 5 days ago. It was a fairly good sized lipoma about 4.5cm long. I have mostly been wearing a compression bandage since surgery. i have it off now and notice hardened swelling around the incision. My doctor says this is normal. Is it ok for me to lay on the incision or is it better to keep pressure off? It is kind of sore to lay with pressure against the pillow, but I can handle the soreness if it will help with healing?
