Hello I'm a light-skinned african american girl (Chanel Iman's skin tone) and I always had a problem with my bikini line. I can't shave, wax, epilate, nothing...because it always causes ingrown hairs followed by dark spots where the area healed. I talked to my Gyno and she said to stop everything and get laser hair removal but I would like to know if it works for getting rid of dark spots that were there for years? I've tried fade creams including HQ 4% with retin a doesn't work. I'm frustrated

Your results will probably be minimal if you have treatments spaced out that far apart. I would wait until you are able to stay in one area and have a consistent set of treatments (4-6) about 4-6 weeks apart.
