25 yo woman who had a breast augmentation in February 2021( 250cc, silicone, under muscle, went from 32C to 32D). In the last month I noticed that I am developing stretch marks on the sides and bottom of my breast. I asked my PS and he said there aren't really any effective treatments for the stretch marks and that only those with a laser would say it's effective. I think he did a great job with the augmentation but I just want to get more opinions on stretch mark treatment.
Answer: Yes first IPL until they arent red then profractional (sciton). Once the red is gone it will take a year after 3-4 profractional treatments (once monthly) to get better

Answer: Stretch Marks Thank you for your question! I agree with you PS in a sense that there really aren't many good options in terms of treating stretch marks. Laser can be used on stretch marks to help with pink/red/purplish coloration but the texture of the skin can never really be fixed. If it is the color that is bothering you than you can for sure get laser to treat that. Hope this helps!

Answer: Options Thank you for sharing your photos! There are several ways to improve a scar's appearance. Some techniques are most effective when a scar is still fresh, such as pigment blocking creams to even out color, silicone gel to improve texture, and massage to break down the tissue. But we also have several options after a scar has fully formed. Steroids injected directly into the healed wound can help to shrink the tissue. Microdermabrasion can flatten the scar, while lasers can decrease the blood-vessel formation in the area and normalize color. Thermage is another good option for tightening the skin on many areas of the body, including the breasts. Thermage is a safe, non-invasive, radiofrequency (RF) cosmetic procedure that’s clinically proven to help smooth, tighten and contour skin for an overall younger looking appearance. The treatment delivers natural looking results with little to no downtime —on all skin colors all in a single procedure. Fast and easy, you can even come in during your lunch break and return to work after! Thermage uses radiofrequency technology to heat the deep, collagen rich layers of your skin. The heat helps tighten existing collagen and stimulate the formation of new collagen, which reduces sagging, renews contours, and improves the smoothness and texture of the skin’s surface. While you will see an improvement immediately, Thermage usually takes up to 6 months to see the maximum result and this improvement is said to last approximately 18 months. Often patients repeat Thermage more often to get additional tightening. I suggest making an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon for consultation to discuss your options.

Answer: Stretch marks Often stretch marks develop as we grow and as a consequence of hormones. I have seen this as a result of the skin stretching. The vbeam laser is very effective at treating the red stretch marks. Radiofrequency lasers such as the ematrix laser helps improve the white marks. Please consult an expert. Best, Dr. Green
