I've done IPL and feel like it does a decent job with sun damage but am looking for a laser treatment that will get my brown, red spots and help with skin texture. I'm pain adverse and dont like anything that could penetrate and damage fat in the face. What lasers or peels should I do?
Answer: Sciton BBL & HALO I think the combination of Sciton’s broadband light (BBL) and Halo is the home run for these cases. BBL does an incredible job of addressing reds and browns, and with the use of appropriate settings Halo does a fantastic job with acne scars. The treatment is very tolerable and performed with the use of a cold air blower and topical numbing cream for comfort. Pronox has become very common and might be something to consider if you really have little to no pain tolerance, but in my opinion is probably overkill. Answer: Recommend doing clear and brilliant laser treatment Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: VI Chemical Peel or Erbium Laser You may be a good candidate for a series of VI Peels with Precision Plus. This particular VI Peel is formulated to treat melasma, skin tone, texture, and signs of aging. Another option to consider is laser skin resurfacing with the Erbium laser. This treatment can also address these issues with the skin. Just like any other aesthetic treatment, there is some level of discomfort associated with both of these treatments and their healing process. Most patients tolerate them very well, however. It is always best to see a provider in person for a consultation to know which procedures best address the needs of your skin. Amadi Aesthetics Plastic Surgery can help you achieve all your aesthetic goals - call us at (206) 216-4500 for a complimentary consultation.
