I'm a 23 years old male and I'm interested in getting a procedure to improve my skin. I basically want to restore my skin glow, get a softer texture and make my pores less visible. I also have small hyperpigmented blemishes on my face that I'd like to remove. My undereye area also has darkened with time. I'm still young but when I look at pictures of 16 year old me, I see a noticeable difference in my skin and I'd like to get it back with multiple procedures.
Answer: Recommend to start with LaseMD treatment Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: What skin procedure would be best in my case? I can suggest a combination of treatments that may help restore your skin's glow, improve texture, reduce pore visibility, and address hyperpigmentation and under-eye darkening.1. Chemical Peels: These can help exfoliate the skin, remove dead skin cells, reduce the appearance of pores, and improve overall skin texture.2. Microneedling: This treatment can stimulate collagen production, which can help soften skin texture and reduce pore size. It may also help with hyperpigmentation.3. Laser Treatment: Specific laser treatments, such as IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), can target and reduce hyperpigmentation, improving overall skin tone.4. Under-eye Treatments: For darkened under-eye areas, treatments can range from topical creams to fillers or laser treatments, depending on the cause of the darkness. A consultation can help determine the best approach.5. Daily Skincare Routine: Alongside these treatments, a good skincare routine is essential. This should include a gentle cleanser, a moisturizer, and sunscreen. Specific products, such as retinoids and vitamin C serums, can also help improve skin texture and tone.
