I was wondering if it's safe to use caster oil on my eyelashes?

Hi, my eyelashes are always falling out and leaving holes and I was trying to find a home remedy for it and found that some people use caster oil on their eyelashes.

You shouldn't have any issues tinting your lashes while using latisse. The tint affects the hair that is already grown while latisse works on the hair follicle/root. Best, Dr. Nazarian

I suggest PRP and steroid injections if this was lost rapidly.  Latisse everyday should help if this is not an alopecia from autoimmune conditions.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Why can't I put latisse on my lower lashes?

The lower lashes can grow and curl up and poke your eye causing a corneal abrasion. I suggest avoiding this.  Best, Dr. Emer.

It's truly impossible to tell without at least an in person exam, but assuming that the follicles aren't damaged then yes, latisse will help. Just remember that each individual lash follows a different cycle so it may take a few more weeks to see any results. Hope this helps -- Dr. Nazarian

What % of patients lose fat around the eyes after using Latisse?

There is no research to indicate that patients lose fat around the eyes after using Latisse. Side effects (including eye lid irritation and skin discoloration) resolve after discontinuing Latisse.
