You shouldn't have any issues tinting your lashes while using latisse. The tint affects the hair that is already grown while latisse works on the hair follicle/root. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Hello!Eyelash tinting should not interfere with Latisse treatment.Lash tinting is primarily done for the lash hair shaft that has grown out of the eyelid margin. Latisse (Bimatoprost) primarily acts on the lash root follicles to enhance lash growth. Hence, these two products act at two different sites, and are unlikely to interfere with each other. It is best to apply Latisse at bedtime, after having wiped off the lash-tint (not a problem if the lash tint is a permanent dye). Hope this helps!
Latisse requires only a small drop applied to the base of the lashes for growth. Tinting would be perfectly fine since it involves the hair shaft and not the root of the hair. Warm Regards, Jennifer Murphy, MD
Hello, Thank you for your question. There isn't a generic version of Latisse which has be approved. Take care.
I am sorry that you are having concerns about your appearance and thanks for sharing your question. I can appreciate your concern. The gap of your eyelid could be treated in several ways: 1.hair transplant. The only problem is that the hair will grow like a regular hair, making it painful to...
The lower lashes can grow and curl up and poke your eye causing a corneal abrasion. I suggest avoiding this. Best, Dr. Emer.
It's truly impossible to tell without at least an in person exam, but assuming that the follicles aren't damaged then yes, latisse will help. Just remember that each individual lash follows a different cycle so it may take a few more weeks to see any results. Hope this helps -- Dr. Nazarian
There is no research to indicate that patients lose fat around the eyes after using Latisse. Side effects (including eye lid irritation and skin discoloration) resolve after discontinuing Latisse.
Periorbital fat atrophy has been described with Latisse usage and can cause this to occur. I would stop using the medicine and see a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon about replacing the volume loss with an injectable filler like restylane or belotero.
