Lumineer or Veneers?

They are the same thing. Lumineers is a brand name from a certain dental lab, that's all. There are several "brand" names available, Durathin, DaVinci, etc. Lumineers gains a following because they were the first brand to advocate "no-prep" or "minimal prep" veneers. You can do these procedures with any brand, or no brand at all and prescribe any lab that does veneers to do no prep or min prep veneers. Min or no prep veneers are most useful in patients with relatively straight teeth, or teeth with some gaps or spaces, but crowded or crooked teeth usually require more "prep" to modify or improve the smile. Hello, the sizes of both restorations (veneers and lumineers) can be made according to your face. The difference between the two is the thinness of the material and veneers are more durable materials while lumineers can be fragile. Minimal tooth preparation is required for both and this reduces the damage to the tooth, so your sensitivity problem is not a problem.
